1. Start with an illustration
Start with an illustration of a situation in which an idiom is used, then read its dictionary definitions and examples. The webtoon-inspired artwork and easy-to-read pages help you explore one expression at a time.
Some definitions refer to another dictionary entry. We include the referenced meaning so you can read the explanation in one place, while keeping the original wording and references available.
2. Explore by body part and scene
The site includes 1,250 body-related idioms. Explore them through six character illustrations—an adult man and woman, a boy and girl, and an older woman and man—and a separate list of additional categories.
Seven scene maps cover kitchen and dining, home and courtyard, market and alleyways, traditional school and games, sky and fields, animals, and thoughts and feelings. Select an object or a marked spot to explore related idioms.
3. Editing based on dictionary data
We do not add popularity rankings, difficulty ratings, or badges without supporting data. We do not shorten definitions merely to fit a card, and we keep distinct words with the same spelling separate using their dictionary entry IDs.
